The Education committee group works together to submit symposium proposals to national and international meetings throughout the year (ISHLT, HFSA, ATC, ACC etc).

You do not need any experience.  We will pair each person with a more experienced proposal writer to create a proposal and together we will review and refine prior to submission. Our goal is to teach you the process of how to successfully submit excellent proposals and for you to extend your network and collaborate with others.  We want you to include yourself in every proposal (as a moderator or speaker) and make sure that others begin to recognize your name if you are not already established in the field. Even if your proposal is not accepted or if it is altered, you will begin the “name recognition” necessary to academically succeed. Above all, we want you to have fun meeting new women like yourself who are destined for success.
